Could I be any more lucky to have clients who love books as much as I do?! There is a certain je nais se qua about old bookstores, stacked from floor to ceiling with books. Eri + Joe are my people. We’re nerdy and funny and not afraid to be ourselves. When they told me about their wedding at the Indiana Statehouse and the Rathskeller, with ethereal beauty and highlights of Scottish regalia – yes, KILTS! (swoon), I was immediately head-over-heels. We met at Hyde Brothers Booksellers to begin our journey together. We had fun as they recreated the Spider-Man kiss on the Wells Street Bridge.
You two are adorable and I am so thrilled for you and your love. <3
Carissa and Aaron are so adorable, I can’t stand it. Two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and destined for one another. <3 Thank you for including me!
Desiree, Alan, and I met up at the beautiful ArtistreEscapes Island Garden Venue in Coldwater, Michigan this summer. Their wedding will be taking place here, so we wanted to get a lay of the land and venture around. They played in the sand and water from the rock wall waterfall and we chatted and planned for the big day.
Chris and Jamie’s fun, downtown engagement session in Fort Wayne was full of laughter. We had such an awesome time roaming around the alleyways downtown and getting to know one another. These two are characters and perfectly fit for one another. Their love is genuine and palpable. One cannot help but grin when in their presence.
Caleb and Ashley are engaged!! We ventured around the ever-beautiful Salomon Farm Park in Fort Wayne for their fall engagement session last November. Lots of giggles and laughter were to be had.
Their wedding earlier this year was postponed due to Covid-19, so I am even more excited for their wedding next summer!
A vibrant summer engagement session at the beautiful Headwaters Park was a good way for Claire and Severene to get to know the area. This awesome had couple just moved here from out of state a few weeks prior to meeting up with me. We spent a hot summer day in late July laughing and getting to know each other. We walked around and chat for a while as we explored the heart of downtown Fort Wayne. They asked for recommendations on things to check out, so I gave them the scoop on some of my favorite places, including restaurants, venues, and the farmer’s market. The gorgeous summer foliage and stunning art murals around downtown were the perfect backdrop to get these two acquainted to their new home.
Claire and Severene are sweet and charming and I had so much fun with them. Congrats!
