FAQ

Your Questions Answered

How long have you been a photographer?

I began my photo journey in 2008! I graduated from USF with a Bachelor’s (2012) and Master’s (2017) Degrees in Studio Art with a Concentration in Photography and Minors in Art History and Painting.

What sets you apart from other photographers?

Every photographer is going to tell you they’re passionate about photography – and they should be! I can’t tell you why you should choose me – that is up for you to decide – but I can tell you about myself. I love love. I have a love-hate relationship with time. It’s why I became a photographer because all of this will end one day and what better way to hold onto our memories than by having moments we can touch. I’m a big nerd and I love animals. Coffee addict, book lover, word nerd, gardening wannabe. Down for game night with delicious food? Let’s be friends.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot dual bodied (2 cameras) and use top of the line Nikon equipment and lenses. Depending on lighting situations, several on-and-off camera flashes will be creatively incorporated. And most importantly, backups upon backups upon backups!

Do you photograph destination weddings?

Um, yes. Yes, please. I love to travel – let’s go! If you are having a destination wedding, you will be provided with a custom quote.

When do we get our images?

Weddings have a turnaround time of 6 weeks. Sessions have a turnaround time of 2 weeks. Delivery time can be expedited for special situations. Please let me know ahead of time!

Will you edit any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc?

Minor edits will be made, however, I believe these distinctions are what make us beautiful and unique. If there are specific edits you want, additional editing fees will be charged according to the number of images and complexity of edits requested and will require extra time.

Okay, we vibe. When should we book?

Weddings are typically booked 12-18 months in advance, but every situation is unique. The best advice I can give is to book as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of your date being available.

For sessions I recommend a minimum of 3-4 weeks in advance.

We’re ready! What’s next?

All that’s required to secure your wedding date is a non-refundable retainer fee of 25% your total investment and signed contract. Any remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date.

Sessions require a non-refundable retainer fee of 50% your total investment and signed contract upon booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the session date.

Payment plans are available upon request.
